Our shelter is located at:213 E. William Thomason BywayLeitchfield, KY xxxx4 The shelter is open daily from 8:00AM to 12:00PM (Central Time Zone). Please contact us for an appointment if these times aren't suited to your schedule.Update: on 6-23-14 Bloom gave birth to 7 babies. Hoping we can get her out of the shelter soon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF3aeauijII Bloom is a lovely girl who was found near one of the local grooming shops, so it's most likely she was dumped -- no one has stepped forward to reclaim her. She appears to be very pregnant or else she has puppies somewhere that she should still be nursing. We suspect the former, but we have been wrong before. She looks to be maybe 2 or 3 based on her teeth. She is very sweet with people. We have not tried her with other dogs or done any vaccinations until we know more about her condition. She has been moved to an inside kennel where she can safely have her babies if she is, indeed, pregnant.
